Advocacy
Advocacy is about helping people find their voice. There are three types of advocacy - Self Advocacy, Individual Advocacy and Systems Advocacy
Advocacy is defined as any action that speaks in favor of, commends, argues for a cause, supports or defends, or pleads on behalf of others.
Covers for the Cold
Provides items to school aged youth, young adults and unsheltered individuals to help protect the skin from the bitter cold.
Employment Empowerment
Provides education around employment opportunities to include completing applications and job retention, appropriate work attire and, mock interviews to school aged youth, young adults and, caregivers.
Finances Forward
Provides individual and group sessions around income sources, creating a budget, managing finances and understanding credit to school aged youth, young adults and, caregivers.
Guys in Bowties
A event held once a year to acknowledge and celebrate caregivers of school aged youth and young adults.
Hats and Heels
A event held once a year to acknowledge and celebrate caregivers of school aged youth and young adults.
Life Skills
Life Skills are defined as "A group of psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills that help people make informed decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others , and cope with and manage their lives in a healthy and productive manner
Mentoring
A mentor is a person or friend who guides a less experiences person by building trust and modeling positive behaviors. An effective mentor understands that his or her role is to be dependable, engaged, authentic, and turned into the needs of the mentee

A 7 week cohort designed to provide empowerment, education and knowledge to caregivers and family members of school aged youth/young adults.
